Our potpourris contain only herbs, spices, resins, botanicals, and essential oils. There are no "filler" items and we do not use synthetic fragrance oils. There are a few (and very few) items that are dyed for visual impact.
While we carry quite a few varieties of potpourri, they all begin with one of 5 base scents: Spice, Resin, Floral, Woodland, and Herbal. The base materials are blended together with essential oils and allowed to "marry".
This process gives the potpourri a rich scent with wonderful staying power. Once the bases are ready, additional materials and essential oils are blended together to give each variety it's own unique essence.

West Indian Bay: Imagine yourself on a sail ship, nearing the white sandy beach islands of the West Indies, the scent of Bay trees reaching out to you on the warm tradewinds... This potpourri attempts to conjure up all the lovely scents that are indicative to the area:
Bay leaves, whole anise, Ceylon cinnamon, cloves, allspice, and nutmeg married to a citrus essence of linden, lime and bitter orange. The texture is further enhanced with the addition of juniper and hawthorne berries, rosehips, hibiscus, tilia, sunflower petals, velvet flowers, bekuli pods, and bael nut slices.

Autumn Spice:(PICTURED) Cinnamon, Cloves, Anise, Ginger, Oak Moss and Sandalwood, with dried sliced oranges , lemon and orange peel, flower s and petals in the yellow to orange colors, and for interest there are cones and a dried repens flower.
Earth's Delight: The roots of Vetiver, Ginger, Calamus, and Sassafras lend a dry, musky scent to the spices of Clove, Allspice, Anise and Cinnamon. This is further softened by the addition of Rose Petals, Oak Moss, and Sweet Woodruff. To harmonize with this scent , Strawflowers, Calendula, Velvet Flowerswere chosen for color. Cones and Pods are added for visual interest.
Mystic Garden: Imagine a garden mixed with florals and spices. Peonies, Pink and Red Roses, Larkspur, Malva, Hollyhocks, Lunaria, and Lichen are intermingled with Sweet Woodruff, Nutmeg, Cloves, Oak Moss, and Allspice. A sweet and spicy blend.
